Today, Luke was baptized at the Wapping Community Church in South
Windsor. We had the ceremony at the 8:30am service, partly
because there were already 3 babies being baptized at the 10am service
and partly because 8:30 is just a better time of day for Mr.
Luke! It was a great ceremony...Luke didn't make a peep the whole
time! After chruch, the family came to our house for
brunch. There was a TON of great food and I think a good time was

Well, today Luke turned 5 months old! He is a perpetual drooler
and smiler and he's the apple of mommy and daddy's eye! He's
starting to eat "big boy" food such as cereal, carrots, and peas!
Mmmm! See how Luke has grown by clicking here! Another big
event is that Luke's Uncle Roger and Auntie Christina have agreed to be

Luke visited Wickham park for the first time this weekend and he had a
great time. He really enjoyed being "strolled" around in his
stroller through the "Wetlands" boardwalk and the lovely "English
Garden". He really would have enjoyed the Aviary but he was
snoozing in the stroller at that point...he'll have to catch that part
next time! We ran into a childhood friend of Dave's and his
family, which was really cool. Such a small world...they both
work at Manchester High School. Luke has a long way to go before
he gets there, but wouldn't that be cool if one of these people ended
up being one of Luke's future teachers? Check out the pictures

Luke had a great time visiting Evan and Reese today. They enjoyed
playing with all their toys, watching a Baby Einstein video and posing
on the couch for a few pictures! We all went for a walk and
enjoyed being outside for a while, even though it was pretty humid
outside today.

Luke had his first taste of rice cereal today and he really enjoyed it! The majority of it ended up on his bib, but the important thing is that he tried it!! Next step: filet mignon!!! To see a video of this momentous event, check out the file library!
