Mr. Luke is now 18 months old and Mommy and Daddy just can't believe it! He had his check-up today and he is now 28 lbs. 7oz. (85th percentile) and 33 & 1/4 inches tall (80th percentile). He had 1 shot and was very brave...Mommy and Daddy were very proud! It's amazing how much he's grown...click here to see Luke's 18-month picture.

Luke is certainly enjoying the fall! He has the walking down pat now and has even started to "tap" dance on occasion. He definitely keeps Mommy and Daddy entertained! Luke has started to try to climb on the couch...and he was successful at getting on top of his toybox just the other day! Luke has also started to enjoy being upside down...but he gets help from Mommy and Daddy on that one! Luke also loves to slam the cabinet doors as well as the gate to his playroom. He is also fascinated with closing the washing machine door and dishwasher. Since he's so fascinated with how these things work, Mommy and Daddy think we may have an engineer in the making! Luke has started the "Gymboree" experience and seems to really enjoy it. He especially likes riding on and playing under the big parachute. Click here to see some ...

Well, this entry is a bit late, but just wanted you all to know Mr. Luke is now 17 months old! He is now walking like a pro and starting to get into stuff he shouldn't! He is working on some molars, which is tough, but he's a tough little man so we think he will make it through! Luke has been holding his own bottle for a few weeks now...something we've been working on for a little while. He's also starting to hold his own spoon. This is a messy process, but at least it's fun! Luke now points to Mommy's nose when asked, which is very exciting for this nose! Luke is getting very big and Mommy and Daddy guess he's somewhere around 27 lbs, but we'll know for sure next month at his 18-month check-up...so stay tuned! We can't believe it either....Lukey is 16 months old! He is walking around like a maniac these days. Hence the fact that he is standing in his 16-Month Dinosaur Picture. He's quite the little daredevil! Go to the File Library to see a video of Luke walking and making lots of noise. He's also working on some teeth. He now has 4 on the bottom and 2 on the top. This teeth-making business is hard work! He usually responds well to Tylenol and lots of hugs :) That's all for now....keep in touch!

Today was a big day for the Luke-ster. He got his first pair of shoes AND had his first carousel ride ever! Mommy and Daddy took Luke to the mall and after eating dinner took him on the carousel there! What an exciting ride! Luke has also been busy visiting friends. He visited buddies Evan and Reese and played on their swingset which he LOVED! He also visited friends Christian and Grace and was lucky enough to get to play with some of their toys! Luke also enjoyed a visit from Hannah and had fun riding in the bike trailer with her! It must be difficult to be so young and yet so popular! As always, Luke is a happy little guy...laughs at everything...such a good sense of humor! Click here to see Luke's latest pictures!
