Luke had a great first Thanksgiving! Tony cooked the turkey on
the webber and each of us made a different side dish. Although
Luke didn't try the turkey, he got some indirectly from mommy's
milk!! Luke loves hanging out with cousins Joe and Ellie...he
enjoys watching Joe run around and bump into things! The day
after Thanksgiving we noticed that Luke has tooth buds! He'll be
chomping on turkey before we know it!! Click here for more

Luke took his very first plane trip ever!! It was very exciting
(maybe a little nerve-racking for mom and dad) to see how Luke would
react to the 5-hour flight to Phoenix. He did EXTREMELY
well. He was very cheerful, especially for being woken up at 4:45
am to make a 6:35am flight! The man sitting in our row agreed to
switch seats with Memere, so she, mom, and dad took turns holding and
playing with Luke! The people sitting in the row next to us said
that when they first saw us come onto the plane, they thought, "Oh
God...a 5-hour flight sitting next to a baby...it's going to be
miserable!" However, they told us at the end of the flight that
Luke gets the "Best Baby" Award because he was so good. He slept
on Memere and then again on Mommy for a while and laughed a lot
too! We were very proud of him! Luke is enjoying hanging
out with cousins Joe and Ellie...it's amazing to see them

Halloween was a great day for Luke! He started the day with a
Dr.'s appointment (for his 6-month checkup) and did very well! He
is now 19 lbs., 9 oz. (90th percentile for weight) and he's 27 &
1/2 inches tall (75th percentile for height) so you can see how he
earned the nickname "Beefcake Man"! Click here to see how Luke has grown! He was dressed as a cow for
his appointment, which the staff at the Dr.'s office really
liked! Later that evening, he had a wardrobe change and put on a
skunk costume to go trick-or-treating! This costume belongs to
his buddy AJ, who wore the costume a couple years ago. Click here

Today, Luke was baptized at the Wapping Community Church in South
Windsor. We had the ceremony at the 8:30am service, partly
because there were already 3 babies being baptized at the 10am service
and partly because 8:30 is just a better time of day for Mr.
Luke! It was a great ceremony...Luke didn't make a peep the whole
time! After chruch, the family came to our house for
brunch. There was a TON of great food and I think a good time was

Well, today Luke turned 5 months old! He is a perpetual drooler
and smiler and he's the apple of mommy and daddy's eye! He's
starting to eat "big boy" food such as cereal, carrots, and peas!
Mmmm! See how Luke has grown by clicking here! Another big
event is that Luke's Uncle Roger and Auntie Christina have agreed to be
