Mr. Luke is enjoying the winter. He went on his first sled ride and really enjoyed it...especially since Mommy pulled him around and he just had to sit and enjoy! Luke is now a pro at feeding himself. He loves scrambled eggs, Heart to Heart cereal, cheese curls, animal crackers, lentil soup, and Goldfish! He has an amazing appetite and often likes to "sample" some of Mommy and Daddy's meal after he's already polished off his own! Our new project for Luke is teaching him to use a big-boy cup! He's doing well and we expect he'll be drinking from a cup like a pro in no time! Luke continues to be a smiley, energetic, and happy little man and he keeps Mommy and Daddy entertained all the time! As always, there are pictures in the "Watch Luke Grow" album so you can see what a big man he is and be sure to check out some new videos in the File Library and see for yourself how much of a ham Luke can be!

Well, the weather has finally turned cold so Mr. Beefman is spending a lot of time indoors. He loves playing in his playroom...especially with his V-Tech Alphabet Town toy and his blue Rocking Puppy! Luke seems to be getting into the "mouthing" stage (he never really went through it before) and one of his favorite things to do is lick windows, toys and sometimes even the floor!!! YUCK! The "boy" in him is really starting to show these days! Luke is eating new foods recently as he's still learning to chew. He seems to enjoy cheese puffs, scrambled eggs, lentil soup, mac-and-cheese, and ravioli! We'll have him eating steak before you know it! Stay tuned for more Lukey updates!

Well, it's been a while since we've added to Luke's blog, so here goes: Mommy and Daddy think the new year will bring lots of new adventures for Mr. Luke! Luke traveled to Phoenix, AZ to visit his cousins for Christmas. The kids had a great time opening presents, although we don't think Luke totally understood what all the commotion was about. Next year, however, we think he will be all over his PRESENTS! Luke is finally starting to use some of his toys appropriately. He puts balls in his basketball hoop and also in his musical funnel toy. This is exciting for Mommy and Daddy since prior to now, Luke has been mostly throwing his toys. Luke has also started to grab Mommy and Daddy's hands and pull them into another room. He is very proud of himself when he does this and proceeds to giggle uncontrollably :) Luke is doing really well imitating Mommy and Daddy. One of his favorite games is to clap his han ...

Mr. Luke had quite the busy Halloween this year. First, he made a surprise visit at Dad's office and showed off his devil costume for the whole company. Then, back home for an afternoon nap. When dad got home from work, he and Luke went over to see Grandma and Grandpa Morin and Aunt T T, then a quick pit stop at Aunt Nancy's house. Then back home where Mom brought him over to see Grandma and Grandpa Schwartz. He went trick or treating to a few of their neighbors. He doesn't quite get it though, he was throwing the candy back at the people that were giving it to him! After that, he came back home and went to a few of our own neighbors. He was a tired guy after all was said and done and fell asleep very quickly. Here are some pictures.

Tonight while Mommy was singing Luke to sleep, he took his pacifier out of his mouth and threw it on the floor. We just continued our bedtime routine without it and Luke went to sleep paci-free!! Could this be the end of the paci?? Stay tuned.....
